The seminar focused on:
“Career Strategies and the Job Market: How to Make the Right Career Choices After an Overseas Assignment”

We discussed how professionals can leverage the experience and skills gained through an overseas assignment to shape the next stage of their careers.

Drawing on real-world cases from the recruitment industry, we covered key topics including:

・Career planning in preparation for returning to Japan
・Career opportunities and the job market after returning to Japan
・The option of remaining in Thailand and transitioning to a locally hired position
・How overseas assignment experience is valued in the job market

We were also pleased to welcome a guest speaker who had personally transitioned from an expatriate role to a locally hired position in Thailand.

The guest shared candid insights into the reasons behind the decision, the challenges faced during the job search, how different career options were considered, and the process of successfully making the transition. This first-hand experience provided valuable perspectives for participants considering their own next career move.

The networking session following the seminar also provided a valuable opportunity for participants to exchange ideas, experiences, and perspectives.
