Job Description
- Be accountable for the delivery and operability of the online e-commerce platform and related services
- Work with BU’s e-commerce head, marketing team, and operations team to gather and develop customer requirements
- Represent the business needs of BU and communicate them to a development team in forms of user story, wireframe and use cases
- Collaborate with the development team and QA team to understand timeline and impact for each new feature
- Be a product champion for the assigned BU, roll out new features, provide training and get feedback for the product from end-users
- Proactively discover risks and issues in order to ensure that the projects are meeting the milestones
- Manage the change control process, escalate the decision making and ensure that the stakeholders are aware of the impacts
- Suggest process improvements as necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing or related fields
- Hands-on experience as a product owner in Agile engineering team
- 2 – 5 years’ experience in at least two or more of the following areas: software development, business analysis, project management, product management, product development or marketing
- 2+ years’ experience working with cross-functional peers from various departments
- Possess strong business acumen with a good understanding of e-commerce business
- Knowledge of Demandware, Hybris, Magento, and other e-commerce platforms are greatly appreciated
- Hands-on software development throughout SDLC is a big plus
- Good knowledge of Agile methodology
- Excellent communication skills with very good command of English
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A good team player with excellent interpersonal skills to influence and inspire others
